Huina 1580 ALL METAL 1/14 Scale RC Excavator V4

I received my package in great shape and on time. It was a pleasure dealing with them. I had a problem when I tried to use it. I e-mailed the owner and he got right back with me. It was my problem all alone for not reading the instructions. I would buy from them again.

Finally arrived. Nice looking unit. Good detail. Looks more like a 1/16 scale than a 1/14. Took a good 7 hrs. To charge battery. First run today. Everything working good, except slew ring. Lots of play and clicks some when swinging left or right at midway point. Will work with it some more. Probably have to upgrade this area. Time will tell..

Pretty nice for the money. It would be nice if the stick came back towards the boom more. Seems limited on stick movement. Tracks were way to tight on arrival. Made some spacers to take some tension off. Digs well all I all pretty fun!

I love this machine so much! It is super fun to use! I find it very awesome that the controls with the thumb sticks replicate the majority of actual excavator controls that you’d find on the joysticks. The sand is a great place to start digging. It’s also made me want to build a trailer for it to haul around the excavator. I’ve dived more into the hobby of RC and it is a slippery slope.

My grandkids love watching their PaPa dug holes in their sandbox. Also picking up NaNa's shoes and hiding them from her.

R.C. After Dark YouTube; "Huina 580v4" I am Extremely happy with this Huina 580v4 Excavator purchased from Xtreem RC, As well as being extremely happy with the Xtreem RC Staff, and Support personal. When I initially purchased the Excavator, I had a email address confusion situation going on with my order, And the USA rep "Gary Chevers" quickly contacted me, and Helped to get everything corrected. When I eventually received the Excavator, I was Blown away by the Vehicle's overall "fit & finish" It's very well made, and looks absolutely beautiful, The online photos of this machine are nowhere near as nice as it is in person. That being said; My Excavator unfortunately arrived with a defective track link, Which was a Gigantic Disappointment! I took photos of the defective track link, Then I quickly emailed Gary Chevers from Xtreem RC, explaining the situation, as well as, sending him the photos of the defective track. All I can say is that Xtreem RC stand's behind there Products. Gary Chevers quickly replied to my email, He displayed his concern, and disappointment, that the Excavator arrived like that, He then apologised for the unfortunate situation, And Replied that They were going to send me a Entire new track section to repair the problem. Unbelievable! Talk about standing behind there Products! One track link would have repaired the problem, Three track link's, would have Guaranteed that the problem didn't go any further, But Xtreem RC went above & beyond, And is currently sending me an entire new track section to repair the situation, I can't say enough about how Happy I am with Xtreem RC, and Xtreme RC's Support Personal. This excavator is awesome and pretty heavy duty for its size , I’m glad I bought the metal version. Being a Diesel mechanic and working on machines like these daily in a much larger scale , it’s nice to play with this well built toy with no mess like grease ,fuel ,and oil lol , its built tough and I am definitely impressed !!!

Bought this for my hubby for Christmas and he absolutely loved it!! He works in dirt construction and thought it was the coolest thing to have a ‘mini’ of the equipment he uses at work. He just had to take it to work to show off to all his workers. They all thought it was the coolest thing. Great quality and works amazing. One of the best gifts we have ever gotten him.

My order from Xtreemrc.com arrived in good time and the exterior cardboard was undamaged. The excavator came in a very nice 'suitcase' with a form-fitted interior insert. This machine has a pleasing 'heft to it. I waited to fully charge the battery and then fired it up. On start-up, the sound module is on by default and frankly is a bit cheap sounding - I just turn it off. However, the boom lights are tied in with the sound so I may add a switch later to be able to have the lights w/o the sound. My only comment about the controls on the Xmitter are that there seems to be a tad bit of lag between the input and the moment the servo or track drive motor actually starts up. This makes fluid, coordinated movements difficult at first but I'm sure I can get accustomed to this. All the servos are fully proportional - nice. Basically, this machine is quite good value for the money.

The excavator is very realistic in all its movements and has a fair bit of strength to it as is shown in photo. Only disappointing thing is the smoker which gave up after about 3 mins.

I thing the item was more bigger.

I was extremely happy when my excavator arrived and was well packed. So far it runs and works very well. I just ordered the 1540 RC Dump Truck because that rectangular bed is what I see most in Connecticut; rather than the long beds like the 573 or 1582 have. Hoping it's as sturdy a the excavator even though it's plastic not metal.

Excavator arrived in a beautiful protective suitcase and was very happy with the details. HUINA is an awesome brand especially compared to the hydraulic brands out there. XtreemRC customer service was also very helpful in the purchase process, will buy again from them. Item arrived in a fairly good speed (even with CORONA virus pandemic).

This is a great product and I have really enjoyed using at my home. Water alway runs through the backyard so I decided to make a ditch with this excavator to divert the water. The best thing is that it held together after 4 inches of rain! This machine can really dig and is a blast to have!

Yeah where do I start, the whole talking with Xtreem Rc before I even purchased the 580 V4 regarding issues with a 583 I purchased from another hobby shop and these guys were so helpful even though it wasn’t there sale. Communication was on key the whole time and very responsive. After purchasing the Huina 580 there were delays ( Covid19 )and also my excitement in which I would easy my worries with factual responses and I cannot commend the Xtreem team enough and as for the 580 V4 ? Wow yeah what a introductory machine to RV Construction, power, scale looks and digs like the real thing. I’ll be saving for another real soon. Parcel arrived within time frame very well packaged. The item is all I expected well made a little loose in some of the hinges but all in all good quality.

Just received my TongLi 1580 excavator. Took it out of the box and everything worked to my expectations. Machine has good weight and now I cant wait to use it.

I haven’t used to much yet but it’s every thing I expected it’s heavy it really does dig dirt you don’t have to make it soft first just dig and it’s a lot of fun to run

Very nice excavator. It does everything the true hydraulic version does for a grand less money. Granted the control feel will be more precise with hydraulics, and, you can purchase a hydraulic conversion kit for this machine. I recommend it.

The excavator exceeded my expectations. It is a beast and everything functioned as designed. I am very pleased with the purchase. Hunia makes some great product.

This 1580v4 works better than I would have expected, some minor adjustments to make such as bucket and second arm angles, but thats what us model builders do. their are a couple of niggles, 1- sound module required would be better with engine sound 2- battery size and usage not that good. These are small things, its ability to dig into and lift a load is very good and has surprised quite a few v3 owners, Would recommend cant wait to see what comes next ???
